AHI Jensen has been in the construction and landscape maintenance business in Southeast Qld for 34 years doing a range of projects. Historically, Jensen has been involved in the construction of Sanctuary Cove, Nara SeaWorld Resort, Twin Waters Resort, Palm Meadows Golf Course, World Expo Southbank, & the Riverside Centre in Brisbane.
Recent activities are most indicative of the capabilities of the company today. Following is a summary of typical projects and activities that AHI Jensen have been involved with.
Suncorp Stadium:
The Company has been called in to provide expert assistance to complete the last three re-surfacing projects at Suncorp Stadium. This work has involved the bump out and re-laying of Legend couch turf to meet the timing schedule of the Stadium around concert obligations and events such as State of Origin Rugby League.
Sanctuary Cove:
Residential Parks & Gardens at Sanctuary Cove for the Residential Body Corporate involving Greenfield construction of gardens, paving works and installation of exterior furniture. This included working to landscape architects plans, doing the earthworks to shape and prepare the areas, garden edging, fencing, paving, plant-out and final mulching.
Stradbroke Towers Apartment Complex, Kangaroo Point:
Total removal of all plants, soil and all garden materials from all from residential apartment complex planter beds. Raising and shaping garden floor heights and angles before waterproofing the entire garden beds ensuring correct drainage levels. Soils, plants, irrigation, lighting and finally mulches re-instated. Irrigation was also wired and programmed for automatic controller. This project was undertaken because of water seepage in the car park underneath.
Dockside Hotel, Gardens & Internal Feature Ponds:
Plumbing, drainage and waterproofing to re-furbish defective interior ponds and closed entertainment area retiling appropriate to the variety of functions conducted in that area. Installation of drainage and soil to plant out garden beds, convert existing exterior ponds into planter boxes and as a natural extension of the internal space.
Darren Lockyer Statue – Suncorp Stadium:
Removal of partial section existing rock wall, construct a reinforced concrete base fromengineers design and wrap the footings in a stone covering to dress the appearance and re-furbish existing stonework.
